Begin with participation.
A player appearing for 1–59 minutes receives 1 appearance point. At 60 minutes or more, the contribution is 2 points instead. The values do not stack. Zero minutes means zero points in this simplified game model.
Add attacking events.
Each assist is worth 3 points. A goal earns 6 for a goalkeeper or defender, 5 for a midfielder and 4 for a forward. Two goals count twice. These rules are identical for every manager.
Account for the other end.
A clean sheet adds 4 points for a goalkeeper or defender, 1 for a midfielder and none for a forward, after at least 60 minutes. A yellow card deducts 1 and a red card deducts 3. Cards are independently recorded.
A worked example.
A defender with 90 minutes, a goal, an assist, a clean sheet and one yellow card scores 2 + 6 + 3 + 4 − 1 = 14 points. The free league calculates points once for round 6 and locks the snapshot, so later edits cannot rewrite the result.
